Secol was founded in 1959 and one of the first to recognize the tremendous archival properties of polyester film.
Originally based in London, the Company moved to Thetford in Norfolk in the 60's, and today occupies a custom built factory featuring state-of-the-art production facilities. It supplies the foremost galleries, museums and photographic collections in every corner of the globe.
In 1992 Founder and Managing Director Mr B.E.C. Green, trading as Secol Limited, was awarded the Royal Warrant for the supply of Archival and Photographic Storage Products by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
