Mounting Inserts, Board & Boarder Mounts

The Secol Mounting Inserts are made from heavy weight 315 gsm ivory coloured Board in A4, A3 and A2 formats. They provide a base for mounting up all kinds of materials from photographs to bus tickets, with the additional benefit that they can be suitably annotated and labelled to provide the complete story. Mounting Inserts possess a 2% Calcium Carbonate buffer to neutralize any residual acidic traces in your material. They are easy to use with  “V” Mount or Corner Strips

Acid-Free Board is 100% cotton fibre board and calcium carbonate buffered and surface sized. It is available in two thicknesses 110 and 160 gsm, in cream or black colour. The board is ideal for mounting and display work: drawings, photographs, prints and general conservation work as well.
