Mounting Polyester Strips & Tapes

Secol Polyester is ideal material for mounting all kinds of photographic and paper presentations in books or on display. From the simplicity of plain Bookmark Strips to the patented system of V-Mount, polyester film provides exceptional clarity, strength and security.

The use of Mounting Inserts in conjunction with Pages or Pockets, Covers, Folders & Sleeves offer one of the most popular and flexible solutions for building an accessible, safe and well displayed archive.

Mounting Corner Strips are simple and effective items comprise rectangular pieces of glass clear polyester with a peel off strip of acrylic dry-mount adhesive at each end. They are ideal for mounting across the corner of prints, cards, photographs etc to hold them firmly (but "removeably") in place without any risk and with maximum clarity.

The V-Mount Systems offer security and archival safety. Small strips can be cut to suit the particular medium.

Book Mark Strips are available in 50 and 125 Micron to go gently round the open volumes. 1000 Microns = 1mm, so the higher the value, the thicker the polyester film.

Single & Double Sided Types are manufactured from a very thin carrier film of Polyester. They are exceptionally stable so can be used for permanent mounting of items or fixing onto Mounting Inserts.
